Last Sunday Keltin and I got to watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone with the wonderful scores of the film performed live by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Keltin and I really enjoyed this hike. It begins at Wolf Creek Pass and gains about 1,200 feet of altitude. When starting out on this trail you walk though a lot of beetle kill but there are young trees coming back. Due to extra light the undergrowth was lush and the wild flowers were beautiful.
During our exploration of downtown Pagosa Springs the wind began to really pick up so Keltin and I decided to duck into Riff Raff Brewing for a flight while the weather called down. The staff was really friendly and they were happy to chat with us. This was a quick visit for some good beer.
During this trip we actually stayed in Pagosa Springs and sadly we had forgotten our swim suits and were so busy that we did not enjoy any of the actual hot springs but we will make sure to do so on our next visit. We did enjoy wondering around the main tourist portion of Pagosa
