While exploring Darry/Londondarry we came across one of our favorite things: a used book store. We could have spent all day in there. The proprietors at Foyle Books were wonderful and were more than happy to help me find books written by local Irish artists. I will admit that I requested no Irish poets because
Portland is weird, a bookstore the size of a city block is awesome. As much as I read I will admit that I did not know that this bookshop existed until Keltin told me about it and since we were taking a day trip to Portland anyway we had to visit Powell’s City of Books.
So I have been in a reading slump lately, but I picked up some new books at a used book sale at Recycled Books that will hopefully help get me out of this. The Ice Dragon by George R. R. Martin This is actually intended as a children’s book but I couldn’t pass is up.
During this trip we actually stayed in Pagosa Springs and sadly we had forgotten our swim suits and were so busy that we did not enjoy any of the actual hot springs but we will make sure to do so on our next visit. We did enjoy wondering around the main tourist portion of Pagosa
