There are worlds of great hikes in Colorado and thus it was not difficult for Keltin and I to find a trail near Telluride. The trail head up to the Bear Creek Falls is a short walk from the main street. This hike was sadly on a time limit as the only parking spot that we could find we had to pay for a time. Despite the timer we had a great time on this beautiful hike.

This is a popular hike with the locals and the trail is wide and easy until you get close to the falls. The wide path turns into a narrow, rocky one person trail.

One dad hiking down with his son in his back told Keltin:
My kid weighs less than that lens.”
He probably isn’t wrong. That lens is dang heavy.

We only had about 15 minutes to relax at the falls before we had to head back down the trail but it was a great hike, nothing too strenuous. Happy hiking!
