Lake Ray Roberts-Johnson Branch: Visitors Guide

I love to hike but never get to enough because Keltin and I keep ourselves so busy. Well last weekend we had a Sunday free and headed out to Lake Ray Roberts State Park. We picked this location for our hike for a couple of reasons: drive time and that it was a place we

Before Christmas Keltin and I went to see a performance by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra: John William’s Christmas. Having loved it so much we decided that we needed to go to some more shows at the Meyerson. The first of which was Dvorak’s New World Symphony. Of course the New World Symphony is not the only thing

Lunar Eclipse – Blood Wolf Moon

Last night made me wish that I had a telescope as I watched the eclipse from my back patio. Bear exploring the yard under the fading silver-white light. It also made me think and write a bit. This poem is rough but I captures my feelings from last night. The wind in the trees And

Last year it was The Wizard of Oz, this year the theme is Neverland. Complete with a Pirate Ship, Pixie Hollow, mermaid, and crocodile. It is worth going to

Finally catching up a bit after having been on vacation. We spent a couple days in Canyon, Texas before heading to Albuquerque for the balloon fiesta. One of the things I was really looking forward to doing was hiking the Lighthouse Trail at Palo Duro Canyon State Park because despite having gone to college near
