Autumn at the Arboretum

This post is a bit late but I wanted to share with everyone the Dallas Arboretum‘s fall decorations. Every year the arboretum builds a pumpkin village around a theme. Last year it was The Wizard of Oz, this year the theme is Neverland. Complete with a Pirate Ship, Pixie Hollow, mermaid, and crocodile.

It is worth going to the arboretum any time of the year. The spring has tulips that are brilliant, bright and just waiting to make you smile. Laci Tulips 1

At Christmas time they have a night exhibit with the 12 Days of Christmas. It is fun to wonder around the gardens at night and see the lights in the trees.

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me…

No matter what time of year you go, make sure to wonder around the garden in its entirety.  Everything is beautiful and so well cared for and despite the number of people there are places that are peaceful and quiet.

When Keltin and I go we love to take pictures. Almost all of the pictures in this post he took and edited. He took some of the video footage as well. If you have the time, stop by the Dallas Arboretum for a bit. Make sure to stop by the tasting garden to try something tasty. Bring your camera to capture some beautiful moments.
