One of our favorite places to hike is the LBJ National Grasslands. This hike got cut short by those storms you see in the distance in the first picture. That being said it was 100% worth it for the wildflowers.

The LBJ National Grasslands near Decatur, TX have miles of trails and many people visit to ride their horse along these trails. We visit to hike and maybe tent camp one day. Last time we visited there were still some wild flowers but the fall foliage was making itself seen and it is too beautiful

Bear and I came across this patch of bluebonnets and paintbrushes just around the corner from the house and I had to take his picture with them. Bear in the flowers. As I was taking these it began to sprinkle. And before we made it home it began to really come down in a thunderstorm.
