We are so happy to be able to get out and hike again! Trophy Club Park was not the trail that we intended to explore the day we did. On a drive earlier in the week to make sure the battery in Keltin’s car didn’t die we found a trailhead in Southlake, TX. Of course

We all have a lot of down time at the moment and I have decided to be creative with mine. I am working on creating an easy to use list of hiking trails. Not just trails that the guide books say are good but the ones that the local think are good. This list will
Like I said in my original post about Eisenhower State Park, we didn’t get to do nearly as much hiking as we would have liked due to the trails being super muddy but we did get a bit in and the trails over looking the lake are gorgeous! The non-muddy portions of the trail were

Visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve was probably one of my favorite things on this trip and I’d go back in a moment. The landscape is so surreal. I knew where we were going but its one thing to know and another to see the giant dunes rising up above you. Walking
