I have been cooking and baking a bunch lately with all this time at home. Some of it has been my own and some, like the scones, have been recipes I found elsewhere and tried out myself. This recipe is one that I found online but for the life of me cannot remember where I found it. When I do, I link it.

These lemon bars are delicious and easy to make. If you are curious, no, I don’t think that is too much powdered sugar. I would recommend going with 7 tbs of lemon juice, 5 is not quite enough. Also, next time I make it I’m going to add lemon zest to the crust. If you are curious I got this cute little serving plate from Kendall Davis Clay, an artist out of Fort Worth.

Happy baking and have a fantastic weekend!

This looks easy. Question — when you bake a second time, crust is on the bottom when you bake. However, it looks like you sprinkled powdered sugar on the crust, which is now on the top. SO, when you took it out of oven, did you turn them upside down and then sprinkled with powdered sugar? (Hope that makes sense.)

No, it’s crust, lemon mix, then powdered sugar.

Ok… got it. I’ve never tried Lemon Bars, but I love lemon meringue and these are much quicker. 🙂
