2021 In Review

2021, the world’s second year living with Covid-19. There is a lot going on on this rock, spinning through space, and a lot of it is frightening but we can’t forget to live and to experience the world around us. I have done my best to expand my travels and to explore the different topics that I share here. If you are interested in some of the other ways I have expanded my site this year, please check out this post.

2021 Adventures:

Kansas Road Trip

This trip spanned the end of 2020 and the start of 2021 as Keltin and I explored his home state. As noted else where on this site, there is a lot to see in Kansa but it is all a 90 minute drive apart – at minimum.

Texas Coastal Plains

This was my birthday trip this year, a quiet weekend of hiking with wildflowers and the best mead.

Mount Rainier National Park

Keltin and I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest on our honeymoon and decided to go back in 2021. We hiked a lot this trip and the views were worth the miles.

Texas Panhandle

This was a quick jaunt up to Amarillo in see friends that we had not seen in over a year.

Colorado Road Trip

This was a fantastic trip. It started out as a family reunion and we just decided to stay longer and keep exploring the hidden wonders of the Rocky Mountains.

Nebraska Road Trip

This quick trip was for a belated wedding celebration. I did get one decent hike in though, along with some great photos.

If you have enjoyed all of my travel stories and other content this year, please take this survey to help me plan next year’s content. Here is to 2022, may it be what we make of it. Thank you and safe travels!
