Exploring the Places No One is Talking About
The prompt for this week was to write poetry and include idioms. Idioms are not only language specific, because they rarely translate well, they can also be very regionally specific. One of the idioms in my poem got some raised eyebrows because it was one they hadn’t heard before – can you guess which one?
The prompt for this piece was to write a character description. There were no requirements as to the character and this piece got some really interesting responses. One of my favorites was an inverse and it was the description of someone’s absence – it was a beautifully haunting piece. My piece is based off my
