Weekend Wanderings: A Day in Fort Worth

Keltin and I spent Saturday in Fort Worth. Our first stop was the farmers market on a beautiful bright and windy day. I did get the eggs, produce, and sourdough without being blown away but it was a near thing. With all that in the cooler we went to the massage we had scheduled because you need to pamper yourself on occasion.

One of my favorite restaurants is called Brewed on Magnolia in Fort Worth. That is where I discovered the London Fog Latte and theirs is still the best. Also, this waffle:

After our late but glorious lunch we apparently needed more sugar and decided to walk down to MELT. MELT ice cream is fun because they only have up to ten flavors at a time but five are always rotating depending on the season. The shop is tiny and there is typically a line out the door but uggg, so delicious.

Magnolia is fun to explore, there are some neat local showroom like shops. A new one carries pencils and notebooks and it immediately snagged Keltin’s attention while I wondered around looking at ceramics a couple of doors down.

This area has some neat street art also and if you remember this post you know how much I enjoy it.

We had a wonderful and relaxing food filled day in Fort Worth. If you get the chance I recommend a visit. What little places in your town do you love to visit?

**The Featured Image is from a fun shop called W Durable Goods – they sell a ton a stuff made right on location along with vintage jackets, cowboy hats and jewelry. They are not located on Magnolia.
