A Small Thanksgiving

2020 being what it is and because of possible exposure Keltin and I had Thanksgiving with just the two of us and Bear this year. It was difficult, not being with the rest of the family but we’d rather not take any risks. I wanted to showcase our feast, we were rather proud of it and it tasted fantastic!

We made:

  • Mashed potatoes with giblet gravy
  • Green Beans
  • Brown Sugar Carrots
  • Air Fryer Chicken
  • Rolls
  • Pecan Pie
  • Buttermilk Pie

I’m pretty sure if Bear thought he could actually get away with it he would have tried to snag the entire chicken. As it was, he just drooled over it. At his first Thanksgiving, after I paid his bail to get him out of the animal shelter, puppy Bear left a large nose print in my buttermilk pie. He has not done that again. Have your pets caused any holiday food troubles? The pie was not puppy Bear’s only misdeed.

I hope that you had a good Thanksgiving no matter how it was spent. What is your favorite holiday dish? Here is to hoping that Christmas will be a bit less crazy. Have a happy Friday!
