Keltin and I love the Texas Hill Country and we had this trip pre-planned before the pandemic. Yes, we still went on our vacation but we defiantly changed how we traveled.

Pre-pandemic we were quite spontaneous when traveling, just trying new things as we came across them but going in to this trip we knew that we could no longer do that. This trip was a lot of research, where could we go and social distance? To start with, our lodging was a small cabin and we had no contact with anyone, so we were good there. Next, what to do? Hiking is always good for social distancing but we had to make sure reserve a spot in advance for a Texas State Park and were unable to get a reservation at Jacob’s Well or Hamilton Pool.
If you are traveling during this time make sure to check the websites of where you want to go, see what is open and what is pickup only and the rules for visiting. If you do nothing else make sure to have at least a mask and hand sanitizer. Many of the shops on the square required masks be warn inside.

Despite the restrictions we had a wonderful time and got to have some wonderful adventures along with much needed escape. I hope you enjoy these adventures, safe travels!
Thank you KW Photography for allowing me to use your wonderful photos!

So right about checking opening times and restrictions of where you are heading at the moment. Looks like a stunning place though.

And it’s polite, things are difficult enough, the least we can be is polite. It is beautiful country.
