Writing Group: Social Media Stories

Social media, the bane of all of our existences and yet our addiction. Well I decided to make it useful as a writing prompt. I’ve talked about this before on here that I like to try and use some prompts as a way to help writers expand their world without just using exposition. I’ve read contemporary novels that use things like social media, new articles, blog posts, lodge amenities, and other things to expand the world of the novel. I personally enjoy these things, they are often used a a breather between chapters and they are something that I want to use in my own work. I also love that you can play with formatting and blank space when doing writing like this.
