For my birthday I wanted to getaway from everything for a bit, escape, relax and just breath in nature. I actually planned this trip back in November and was more than ready for it when April got here. This was a short trip but if was full of good food and drinks, some beautiful scenery and quiet nights.
Sam Houston National Forest
Come walk among the Piney Woods with me and through fields of wild flowers. Safe travels.
Texas born, I grew up hunting and fishing. Now I love travel and cooking, a good beer and a great story. People are their stories and I hope to share mine. I have a ridiculously adorable canine companion named Bear, a supportive family, and a wonderful husband.
