The last things we expected to find while exploring Mineral Wells was a cute little coffee shop but that is exactly what we stumbled across. Of course on a hot day we were actually looking to see if there were any local ice cream places but You Maka Me Hot, we discovered, makes wonderful frozen limeades.

This place was cute, a wide open space with a few tables and each one had a game on it. Keltin and I played a bit of tic-tac-toe. And they allowed Bear inside to cool off on the wood floors. Although their cat stayed hidden during our visit.

We were too hot to drink coffee but Keltin did buy a sample bag of their in-house dark roasted Costa Rican coffee. We had it with breakfast and it was a nice brew. It was a bit bitter for me but I prefer a medium roast typically. However, that didn’t stop me from having a second cup.

Next time we go back to the state park we will defiantly have to stop back in at this shop. The owners are nice and happy to give advice about where to visit in the area!
