I have season tickets to the Dallas Summer Musicals and one of the musicals was Miss Saigon. I probably should have looked up a short synopsis before going but I like a surprise and didn’t want to spoil the story.

I’ve never been to a musical or show in general that was so raunchy or so heartbreaking all at once. There were parts where I was sitting there wondering how some of what was happening on stage could be performed on stage while there were other times when my heart was just breaking. There is a scene with so much emotion that it sent shivers down my spine.
I do suggest this musical for those that aren’t easily offended and enjoy a good musical. There is a lot going on but in the end the story is complete and the you have fallen in love with the characters. Have you seen Miss Saigon? If so, what did you think? Hope you are having a great weekend.

I saw Miss Saigon in Feb. Of the shows coming to Charlotte in its 2018-2019 season, Miss Saigon was high up on the list. I was in tears at moments in Miss Saigon. To see my entire thoughts about the show- check out my review in the link below.

Wow Laci, I am torn. I wanted to go up to Portland to see this musical for my birthday in November, but now it really doesn’t sound like something I would enjoy. What a bummer… you two always look so adorable! Sounds like quite the weekend! What is your next musical your planning to see? We have tickets to Wicked in August and I can not wait!

I’ve seen Miss Saigon… and it’s one of my favorite musicals. I love Chris & Kim’s song, “Sun & Moon.” I also cried when Kin sang, “I’d Give My Life For You.”
