Most of our stay in Kansas was really cold. However, the day we arrived was fairly warm and after hours in a vehicle I needed to stretch my legs. We were staying with his parents and while they were still at work we decided to take their corgi, Dawson, out for a walk.
Dawson with his Chief’s gear!
He was ready to go but by the end his little legs were worn out!
The sign by the old middle school. It doesn’t work anymore but it still looks neat. Time capsule! I can’t remember what year it is supposed to be opened.Old car near the main street of Johnson.
Texas born, I grew up hunting and fishing. Now I love travel and cooking, a good beer and a great story. People are their stories and I hope to share mine. I have a ridiculously adorable canine companion named Bear, a supportive family, and a wonderful husband.

Looks like a great museum! Your video made me want to visit in person if I’m ever down that way. Well done. And kudos to Dawson for taking you for a walk so you could stretch your legs.
