Review: TreeTribe: Leaf Leather Journal

Recently I added an affiliate page to my site to share the the startup companies that I am an ambassador for. After reviewing the Canon Rebel T6, I realized that I enjoy doing reviews and decided to share products and companies that I’ve really come to like.

TreeTribe is a really neat company that sells a variety of products but what makes them great is that they plant 10 trees for every purchase. They also use eco friendly materials in making their products. So far they have planted 240,175 trees in 12 countries.

I have their turquoise leaf leather journal. Leaf leather is made from leaves and it is as durable as normal leather. Their leaf leather products are completely vegan. They use Teak leaves which are large and can be harvested sustainably. And because each leaf is unique, so is each journal, wallet, and bag. If you don’t like turquoise, don’t worry there are plenty of other colors. In Happy Ponderous Thought - 2

Personally, I really like this journal because it is durable. I carry it around in my purse next to keys, pens and a dozen other things that abuse it as I use my purse and it stands up to it like a champ. I’ve also been hiking with this notebook and the cover is water resistant. There is a bookmark so that it is easy to find your place.

For fellow notebook nerds here are some specs: A6 notepad with 100 pages, size: 6.7″ x 4.3″ x 0.6″, and you can detach the notebook from the leaf jacket.

If you are interested in purchasing any of their products use this promo code for 10% off: LMCGEE10. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Check out everything TreeTribe has to offer hereIn Ponderous Thought
