By The prompt for this was a little bit different. I asked club members to write the space a character exists in, not the charter themself. I wanted to know them from how they lived.
For this prompt I used the characters from my work-in-progress. Evander was a statue and now he is a person and he is exploring the space of Alina, my female main character, and she created his form as a sculpture artist. Aphrodite gave him life. This book is a reimagining of Pygmalion that I gender swapped and dropped into a contemporary setting.

Alina’s Art Studio
Evander stepped into Alina’s studio alone. She was at work and he was drifting, trying to figure out life. The room seemed bare with the plinth in the center of the room empty. Walking forward, he stood before the short Ionic style column. Part of him wondered if he would turn back into a stature if he stepped onto it. He decided against it, odd as life was so far, he wanted more.
Turning he examined the room. At first glance it seemed almost messy, nothing matched the wooden barstools they had used as small tables were different shades of brown: light and dark. They were also different heights. Blue paint covered the top of one while the other had red and yellow drips down the side he could see. One of the easels they had used was partly wrapped by something silvery up one side.
Against the wall, next to the door was a table with paper under one foot. The top covered in scratches, paint, and clay. On the floor under the table pressed against the wall were a series of clear boxes filled with what he guessed were art supplies, each was neatly labeled: Paint, Clay, Misc. On top of the table sat a tall stack of books. Out of the top he could see a number of papers marking pages. The bright floral canvas leaning against the wall. The small statues along the back of the table.
Things were organized, clean but in rough shape. He could feel her love of her art in this space. This space where he had been created, this place where he had woken.
