Writing Club: Two Sentence Horror

In my quest to learn to write concisely in creative endeavors the prompt this week, in the spirit of Halloween was two sentence horror. Write a horror story in just two sentences. This was very difficult but people also really liked this prompt. I do love a challenge.

I wrote three two sentence horror stories. The first two are kinda the same story, told in two different was. And I’d love to know how you interpret the third one as I meant in a couple of ways.

  1. Blood drips, drips, drips from my finger tips as I hang over the edge of my couch. I really should have said no to the new neighbor that asked specifically if they could come inside.
  2. I’m regretting inviting my new neighbor in for dinner. Death wasn’t their intention, fuck being anemic. 
  3. I really shouldn’t have looked over my shoulder at the thing chasing me. I should have watched where I ran instead.
