Texas: Bluebonnet Festival

I have wanted to go to the Bluebonnet Festival in Ennis Texas for a ridiculous long time and finally made it this year! The actually festival is only one weekend a year but the whole month of April people can drive the bluebonnet trails.

There are a lot of bluebonnets and other wild flowers and there are places where guests can get out and take pictures in the flowers. That being said, many of the fields are on private property and the flowers must be admired from afar.

This was a fun short this jaunt outside of Dallas to admire some beautiful flowers in a variety of colors. Would you ever go to a bluebonnet festival? Let me know in the comments and safe travels!
