An Unexpected Brunch

My sister and I had an impromptu girls weekend when the rest of the family was out of town. We had been discussing visiting a local winery for the longest time. Upon looking at local ones we found that Deschain Winery had a Sunday Brunch!

*This is not a sponsored post, we just had a good time.

The Winery

This winery is located off highway 82 but it is far enough from the road that the road noise is muted. The building is surrounded and shaded by tall trees. Guests can sit inside, on the outdoor patio, or on the upper covered patio.

Brunch is $60 for two people. It includes a brunch board and a carafe of either mimosa or bellini. We went with the blood orange mimosa, just sweet enough. The croissants, egg bites, and potato wedges were all warm when delivered to the table. The jelly is made in house and it was absolutely delicious, when we visited the flavor was a red berry mix. Also, the staff were all so nice and were happy to answer any and all questions we had.

The winery also does pop-up dinners where the courses are paired with their wine that sound like a lot of fun. There is also live music on Saturday nights. Hopefully when it cools off a bit we can go enjoy some local music and wine. Maybe we can sit on a patio this fall.

Conclusion

Even if you aren’t close enough to visit this winery I do suggest visiting some place local and trying something new. A morning of self-care is good for you. How do you like to relax? Do you like brunch? Let me know in the comments! Have a good weekend.
