By the time we reached Dublin we wanted something different for food and decided to check out the dumpling restaurant that was next door to our hotel. It was called Little Dumpling and it was pretty good. I tried the duck dumplings, they weren’t my favorite but I like to try new things. We also had to try the Nutella dumplings for dessert.

On our last night in Dublin we went to a bar suggested to us by the wonderful people at our hotel where there was live traditional music. Darkey Kelly’s was fairly empty when we arrived but filled up quickly. As with the other bars we had visited this one filled up quickly towards the time the music was starting. As long as you are nursing a beer, the bars were all cool with people just hanging out. I got to enjoy a last couple of pint’s in Ireland and I absolutely loved listening to music here and could have stayed all night but sadly, we had to catch a plane the next day.
Here is a sample of some of the songs we heard, the exception being Galway Girl.

What type of food do you like to try while traveling: traditional or something different? Let me know in the comments! Safe travels and remember to leave no trace.
