So while we were in Colorado I decided to test out some LomoChrome Purple 400ISO 35mm film. This film adds a purple tint to the photos. Okay, you can actually shoot this film at 100 to 400ISO but I think I shot this roll at 400. Having now used this film, I did figure out that the images really need something in both the foreground and background. The purple colors just look better that way. I don’t know if I would use this film again. It’s fun but I prefer black and white or
I shot these photos on a Pentax K1000. We do have other 35mm cameras, but this one is my go-to. I’ve figured it out for the most part. I did manage to waist a whole role in Utah, it didn’t catch and I didn’t get any photos from that roll. That’s the thing with film – it can be fickle.
