Grapevine: Brew and Batter

A new little restaurant opened in Grapevine. Keltin and I love supporting local and decided to give it a try for brunch one morning. Brew and Batter is all about coffee and delicious waffles.

Chilling on their patio I enjoyed a nice Rose Cold Brew while Keltin had the Americano. The cold brew was different but good with a slight floral taste and just a hit of sugar.

The waffles were equity delicious, if a bit small. I had the banana waffle with nutella and Keltin sampled the s’mores waffle. We relaxed on the patio. The only issue there is that the tables don’t have umbrellas and the Texas sun can be fierce. If you do want to relax indoors they have plenty of seating and wi-fi. This is the perfect little coffee shop to get some work done in.

I do appreciate also that they do their best to be eco-friendly. Something that we should all be working towards. Next time you are in Grapevine, make sure to stop in for a brew paired with a sweet or savory waffle.

  1. I’m not arguing, this is a legitimate question. Why is oat milk so much more expensive than almond milk if almond milk needs so much more water to produce? I’ve also noticed this sign in a few places.
    Looks yummy.

    1. Probably due to market share in certain regions. Almond milk has been around longer and is more popular but with facts and time Oat milk is gaining ground. In DFW they cost about the same now.

  2. Banana waffle and a coffee sound and look amazing. No coffee shops in the UK are open still so we can’t get anything like that. At least another 3 or 4 weeks I think. Really want a waffle now …..
