Western Spirit: Museum of the West is in Scottsdale. This museum is a little expensive ($28 per adult) but the guided tours are included. The tours are a bit odd, they only tour 1/3 of the museum at a time. That being said, you can go on back-to-back tours to have a guided tour of the whole museum. We only went on one guided tour, the rest of the museum we explored on our own.

These pictures are on 120 film. Most of them are in the museum sculpture garden, it was one of the few places we felt comfortable taking photos. We don’t typically take pictures or post them of paintings or other easily replicated art because unfortunately there are those that might try to pirate it. The saguaros are outside the museum and I loved them. Fun fact: saguaros don’t start growing arms until they are at least 50 years old, so these are young cactus by that standard.
This museum was a fun way to pass the time and a good way to see artwork of all types by local artist. Do you enjoy visiting museums while you travel? Let me know in the comments. Happy travels.
