Hiking Pilot Knoll Trails

It rained and was overcast a lot in the last week so when Saturday dawned clear I knew Bear and I needed to get out for a bit. We got a bit of a late start because we had to run some errands first and yes, the trail was muddy. I really wish I had taken a picture of Bear’s muddy paws, they were so cute. Yes, I have a seat cover to protect my car from muddy puppy paws.

We ended up on the Pilot Knoll Trail. This is a really easy trail, it’s flat. Most of the trails in this part of Texas are flat; we have very little elevation. That being said, the day was beautiful, there were birds and butterflies and mushrooms to see. I did take the film camera on this trail and I can’t wait to get these photos developed.

What are your local trails like. Let me know in the comments! Safe travels and leave no trace.
