2024 North Texas Fair and Rodeo

The North Texas Fair and Rodeo is currently going on and we got to go last weekend. Yes, it was hot but not was hot as last year. We had a ton of fun, Keltin took the camera to take some pictures of my sister who is a member of the Fairgrounders. This is a volunteer group of ladies that does a performance on horseback to get the rodeo started and they also run the sponsor flags during the rodeo.

I also want to note that these women practice in the heat of the Texas summer for three months to prepare themselves and their horses for this event. There were a lot of impressive ladies at this rodeo, in one of the pictures below is a woman fist bumping the rodeo clown, she is a woman bull rider who road the heck out of her bull.

These types of events are a ton of fun but they are hot. Drink plenty of water, stay in the shade, and don’t do anything too crazy. Safe travels.
