Phoenix: Musical Instrument Museum

Why in Phoenix Keltin and I had some downtime to explore. When asked what we should do, multiple people suggested the Musical Instrument Museum.

This museum is separated into sections by global regions and has instruments from every UN recognized country. Some countries are separated into sub sections either by cultural groups or music styles. In addition to physical instruments from each country the museum has examples of these instruments being played. I stopped reading the informational cards when our time at the museum got short. Instead I walk around listening to all the varied music.

This museum brought me to tears; the variety of the music and cultures represented is absolutely stunning. I absolutely loved visiting and the three hours we had there was not nearly enough time. If you are ever in Phoenix and looking for something to do, make sure to check out this museum.
