About McGee Travel Tales

I decided to start this site for a couple of reasons. I enjoy writing for one and don’t write enough so I thought that this would be a good way to get some writing done on a regular basis. Two, the idea just stuck with me after I was telling some travel stories after work one day to a coworker. The more I got to thinking about it the more I realized that I enjoyed the idea of sharing what I have had the good fortune to see and do. I hope that this blog inspires others to write and to explore the world, to respect and enjoy the wonders that it has to offer.

I hope this blog will also help my readers travel at the budget that fits their life style. I don’t typically talk about what things cost but believe me I try to work within a very reasonable one. Even for the shows we see, I find seats within a decent price range. If you do have questions please contact me here.

One final thought before I let you get back to reading. These stories and memories do not belong to me alone. They belong to those that experienced them with me also.

  10. Great blog. One of my travel goals is to visit every continent – so for Africa, I’d like to do a safari expedition of some sort. Will definitely be checking out some of your Africa content.
