Colorado: Tundra Hike: August 2017

On the way back from Estes Park, driving back along Trail Ridge Road we stopped at the Tundra Communities Trailhead. This trail is half a mile from trailhead to end one way. The trail gives you the opportunity to view the beauty of the Alpine Tundra without harming it, as long as you stay on

I particularly enjoy this subgenre because it contrasts the world of magic to that of technology. Urban Fantasy is not all I’m looking at here but it has a definite presence.   Harry Potter:

Weekend Wanderings: Wild Acre Brewing Company

I love a good beer and enjoy trying out new ones. If you remember by ranting love of the craft beer I found in Alaska, you know dark beers are my go to. When I get the opportunity, which is not as often as I would like, I make my way to a local brewery.

Colorado: Cascade Falls: August 2017

The stories of my Alaskan adventure have all been told but that trip was not the only one that I took out into the wilderness. Keltin and I spent a week in Colorado. We spent some time in the mountain cities but most of our time was spent hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. The
