A Very Merry Blogmas: Christmas Movies

It is almost Christmas, less than a week away. I have most of my shopping done so now it is time to sit back and relax to a few good Christmas movies.

The one that I will be watching this weekend my stepmom insists in the best Christmas movie of all time: Die Hard. Some of you may argue that this is not a Christmas movie but  the setting is Christmas Eve so I vote that it is.

Some of my favorite Christmas movies are:

  • National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
  • Home Alone
  • A Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I hope that in the next week that the prep for family and Christmas celebrations don’t leave you like this: If they do, stop for a minute, enjoy some eggnog and remember what you are grateful for. I’d love to know what your favorite holiday movies are please comment them below and if you have written or read a good blogmas post please paste the link in the comments. I love seeing what everyone else is up to and writing about this holiday season. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from my family to yours.

  1. Look for Christmas in Connecticut. A very entertaining film from 1945. It will remind you of all the Martha Stewart characters you have ever known. It’s in black and white which only adds to its charm and timeless appeal.
